I have 2 ricordia right next to each other and one of them has 2 mouths and looks like it’s splitting and the one right next to it I’ve had for almost a year and it’s gotten huge but no splits. What gives?

They rarely split and mostly produce babies

When the foot moves it will leave a small piece behind that grows into a baby. You can propagate by cutting a tiny piece of its foot with a sharp razor when it curls up. It really only takes a teeny tiny piece to grow a baby.
