I am trying to use bright well purit in the supplied media bag and when I rinse it , it does not rinse clean. I place it in a container with some rodi and its leaching some black residue still. is anyone else running into this? could it be a bad batch on my end? If I place it in a reactor it rinses clean.

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately it’s just how purit is unless running it through a reactor. I’ve seen no harm rinsing it then placing in the sump

always dirty lol I tried everything, let it soak a month in rodi everyday rinsing it and still came out dirty. I just rinse it once and throw it in the tank now and so far so good
