My Mom ran into the same thing when she was in nursing. Big business takes over small hospital and patient care is done for. As is employee relations.

I hate to hear that. You've seemed a little down lately from it I suppose. Wherever you go, I'm sure you'll be a great addition! The world needs more personalities like yours...especially in an environment like that.

Been there. Place I work at was just a small psych hospital. Everyone knew everyone. Had its issues but it was still a sense of family. A large corporate from out in Arizona bought us, and it’s not been the same since. Hang in there. And I’d find a way to smuggle the tank out. They don‘t deserve it.

I had worked for years at a job that I absolutely hated by the end of my employment. I can say that staying at a job where you are unhappy is not worth it. I’m sure wherever your career takes you in the future you will be better off for it
