Im saying placing it in a 45 gallon tank may be be insufficient room but not impossible

What's your total water volume on the system? How much carbon are you running?
I kind of don’t want to buy it but at the same time I don’t think the next purchaser would bother treating it so I feel horrible

It’s all about the size. Magnificas can get really big, but in my experience, if you’re just giving it light and not aggressively feeding it, it stays the same size indefinitely. Mine is about 5-7” across, and after 5 years it’s still the same size.
