Bought one of these to try out on my predator tank. Ive been running it on a 300 gallon vat of live rock with some corals and just 2 clowns in it to test it out.
Been about 2 weeks and so far its really doing well. Its a 6 inch diameter 30 inch tall skimmer that uses a 3/4 venturi. It can be run co current or counter current.
It reminds me of an old lifereef i used to love and always regretted selling.. i wont be selling the xflo.

Any pics? I was looking at those skimmers pretty hard along with the RK5AC.

Any updates? How do you like this one compared to your old lifereef?

Both are awesome.. the rk2 is a little easier to hook up to ozone as the cup is really nice how they have 2 bottom built in drains and a top exit to connect tubing to a carbon container. Besides that they are both venturi,, my larger lifereef is set up to run counter current or co current. my smaller life reef is not. the rk2 can be run either counter current or co current as well.
