I’ve been out of the hobby for the last decade and decided to jump back into it after seeing some bulkreef videos. I got the reef bug again instantly.. I started the tank on 12/6/20 and cycled, using tims, bacter xl or whatever, and ammonia. On 1/5/21 I tested stuff and had 160 nitrates lol. And did daily 50% water changes to get it down to 10. On 1/15 I added the fish and some clean up. Been adding since, I keep my parameters around
nitrate:5-10
Phos: .03-.08
Alk: 8.8-9.2
