Oh Boy!!
Now things start to get intense as I envision removing the lid to find a cracked side panel of glass…
So I jumped into go go gadget action with my trusty Mikita impact driver and start the process of removing the lid screws.
After removing the screws I begin to lift the lid off with one eye open and one eye shut looking right to the area of the outside box damage!!

Time to assemble the cabinet
The cabinet is shipped on the pallet under the tank so we had to lift the tank off to get to the cabinet. This bad boy is heavy!!
I placed the tank back on the pallet to protect the bulkheads on the bottom of the tank.

Cabinet is all together to the point you must stop until the tank and sump are added.
The assembly was fairly easy and straight forward. It was time consuming but nothing unexpected in my opinion.
The cabinet doors are still in the box on top of the cabinet.
The 4 grey boxes shown in the picture are the suction cups I purchased for lifting the tank into position onto the cabinet

Things are moving right along.
We moved the cabinet from the garage to it’s new home in our family room.
I added a wood trim transition from the tile to the rug as well as some brown silicone to hold any small water spills.
I placed the sump tank on top temporarily to get a feel for the foot print/layout.
Pictures will have to come down before main display tank is set into position.

The tank was placed on the stand with the help of 8 of my buddies, I’m sure it could have been done with 6 people but 8 made the move much easier with less worry if someone was in a bad spot during the move from my garage to the family room.
Once tank was leveled I installed the cabinet flooring.
I also installed some LED lighting in the cabinet for a nice effect.

Filling the tank with RODI water straight from the filter system, salt will be mixed right in tank.
The sand I choose is:
CaribSea Special Grade Arag-Alive Reef Sand.
Salt used will be:
Tropic Marin Pro Reef Salt Mix.
The rocks:
MarcoRocks were broken into pieces and Glue/Cemented into these structures. I did not want them to sit to high in the tank I tried to keep some open space for the fish to swim.
Lighting is:
4 Red Sea ReefLED 90’s & Mounting Arms.

The tank is finally up and running. I’m still reconfiguring some things in the sump and have to tighten up my wire management but it’s coming together.
I have added some well established live rock and MarinePure Biomedia Spheres to the sump and display tank. (Pulled from my 125)
Equipment:
Red Sea Reefer 3XL 900
Red Sea RSK 900 Skimmer
4 Red Sea ReefLED 90’s
For Flow I’m using:
2 Red Sea Reefwave 45 pumps 3960GPH
2 Ecotech Marine MP40QD 4500GPH
Main Pump is The Abyzz A-200 4400GPH
Heater 2 300W EHEIM Jager
Cooling: GHL Breeze 3 cooling fan 6 Propeller
Pentair Aquatics 40 Watt UV Steilizer
Once things are up and running I will remove the live rock and spheres from the front part of the sump and make that a refugium

I built this manifold to feed a BRS Carbon Reactor (ROX0.8) and the Pentair 40Watt UV Sterilizer as well as any other equipment I may want to add to the system in the future.
The supply pump I choose is the Sicce Syncra ADV 10.0-2700GPH
I mounted this small rack to hold wires and power bricks.
Still have much reorganizing to do!!

Control center is now mounted on the wall in the room next to the display tank.
I took these pictures with the LED lights on for some input on the LED color choices.
I’m leaning towards #3 Purple please let me know what color you would choose?
1.Red
2.Blue
3.Purple
4.White
