Maybe calcium spots. I’m assuming they are white. I’m sure someone with more knowledge then me will be around. No they dont move. They are hard, not soft.. The picture is hard to see.. I can scrape it off and it just falls to the bottom. They look like sesame seeds that you eat on tuna!
I can't tell from the picture but when you said on the snails that was my first thought as well. Are they spirobid worms?
This is what I’m thinking, my last tank had them all over the rock and any dark place overflow and sump. Are they spirobid worms?
Probably Nerite snail eggs!! But hard to tell with the blue lights on.
Definitely Nerite snails eggs then. I honestly have never seen them actually produce more snails as my other fish pick at the rocks and eat them. So I cannot speak on this.Wow i think this could be it.. I just brought a huge pack of snails and cleaners from reefcleaners, and in the pack was 26 nerites.. This was just a month ago.. Before this, I never seen these things before.. And I never had nerites before.
So they will hatch and I will get more snails?
