@bigbugoutfitters @Projects with Sam was lamed up after my surgery and hankering for a simpler project. Working on converting my QT into a dedicated species tank. Zoanthids only. I put a crack in the sump of post #1,298. Will be back in business with this purchase coming up:

Build thread. Ornamental Shrimp specie only with Zoanthids. NANO starting over

So this post is fast forward from posts # 2-10. I housed a neon wrasse for a reefer I just met from the neighboring town which suddenly died before I could rehome it. Then all my Zoanthids melted. Now for the tank tear down starting post # 11. Here she sits:

Ordered a 5 plug frag pack last week. Probably be here Wednesday. I will continue with this Reefer 250 build thread as well.

Ordered from Vivid Aquariums. None of the polyps ever opened so after 2 weeks assumed they were dead and threw them away.

@Projects with Sam I ordered them on a Wednesday morning and suspected they would ship out that afternoon for a Thursday delivery. However by Thursday afternoon I received an email asking if I still wanted them but they don’t ship on Fridays. I wrote back and said ship next week ASAP. Now that I think about it, the frags could have been sitting all bagged and boxed as soon as I put my order in. He must have assumed I would let him know when to ship. The frags could have been sitting in the box all weekend! However they arrived on Tuesday and never showed any signs of life.

I bet that was the case. usually zoas are pretty resilient so I'm surprised with the outcome.

@Projects with Sam I was toying with the idea of trying to get my money back but never even found out if they had a money back policy. I was extremely busy on the farm with calving.
