I know they have been in copper for 20+ days I want to transfer them into a sterile tank but before that I want to use RRR.Take newly mixed SW. Match the salinity and temperature to the tank the fish are coming from.
Dose the RRR into the bath water. Heat and aerate during bath.
Dosage for Bath is ~ 1 teaspoon of Rally per gallon of bath water.
This will provide temporary relief and help prevent infection. It will not erradicate velvet. Just so you know.
Can this dip and bath be performed on multiple fish at a time? I’m ordering 5 Randall’s anthias this week. Was going to fresh water dip 5 minutes, straight to ruby reef bath (salt matched to shipping bag) 90 minutes. Then to QT salt matched with metro added and copper pre dosed to 1.0ppm.Take newly mixed SW. Match the salinity and temperature to the tank the fish are coming from.

Ok RODI dip separately. How large of a bucket? Should water be changed for each fish and does the water need to be aerated?I would dip the fish separately. (This will also let you know if a particular fish has flukes) You can do the Rally bath in a 5gal bucket 3/4 full on all of them at the same time no problem.
You can aerate the FW dip. I usually just do it in a small glass bowl.Ok RODI dip separately. How large of a bucket? Should water be changed for each fish and does the water need to be aerated?
