Hi!
Im dosing using the AF balling method and would like to try a sulfur denitrator.
I was just wondering if it is a good idea to run a sulfur denitrator without putting the calcium media on top? The media would be releasing some calcium and some alk to compensate for the alk consumed by the reactor. This would lead to the calcium becoming higher over a period of time while alk would still stay low.
How about if i just dosed in a separate dosing pump sodium bicarb just to compensate for the alk lost and the lowered ph of the reactor so that the calcium is not increased at all?
