Well, got the RODI and Saltwater mixing station in today. Pipes are not glued yet just test fitted for now.
Have you guys used the pump from the mixing station to pull water from your DT when doing water changes?

Officially finished my mixing station today. Feels good to finally get something done on an upgrade, LOL!!! ;Hilarious

My lame looking electronic panel without The bling (Apex goodies). Rest assure......it will be full in time.

Be careful what you wish for, it will be overflowing in no time, LOL!!!

Thanks Billldg. Yep, it’s great having a mixing station! Mine is 150gal/day. I might try the new Coral Vue Hydros controller instead of Apex. No hurry. I was so happy to make it through my Powder getting fluke and giving my other fish ich without losing a fish. Oh, I lost a big Royal Gramma because he jumped while quarantining. I have a glass lid over the QT now. Need to get one for the Red Sea cause I want to get a Golby to clean the sand.

I have mine hooked up to my Apex. I just had to install a EB4 and a PM2 module. I just finished a 200 gal total water volume mixing station.

Yea, don't rush QT'ing fish. I have lost a few wrasses to jumping in QT.;Facepalm My fault for having a good cover. Won't happen again.;)

Update. Tank is doing great. Chaeto is growing well, like a weed actually. Added some corals. I’m going to wait a while longer before adding sps.

Added a few more SPSs. Tank is doing well for all corals and fish. No ugly stage encountered. Haven’t decided on a controller yet or if I need one. Did take advantage of recent sales for some goodies. I will list the fish but not to confident with the sps coral names yet.
- Powder Blue Tang
- Powder Brown Tang
- 2 Yellow Belly Blue Tang
- Sailfin Tang
- 2 Clowns
- 3 Blue Damsels

Got a few more candies. All parameters are in range except my nitrate and phosphate are barely detectable. So I stopped running the skimmer to see if nitrate would increase.

Got a call from my LFS. Picked up a couple additional colonies. I prefer colonies size pieces over frags because I don’t have the patience to wait for it to grow and fill my tank.

Set up is simple, clean and still no controller. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I think these pics are better with no filters and my blues turned down. More realistic. Taken with my iPhone unedited.
