...and this happened... they will go nicely with my 4ft T5 and 3ft t5 AqL fixtures. I plan to set them on the 75g to start coral acclimation. I plan to mount my lights 20"+ off the water so the a500x should work great. I'm excited to try out Kessil. Currently I run xr15 pros in my 75g.
You'll love kessil if you like shimmer. That low (lol) I wouldn't use a reflector. The 500x is made for very deep tanks and acropora and just so its not a Hotspot I'd just keep the reflectors off.

I may try removing the reflectors. Currently I have the lights over my 75g and corals are taking longer than I like to adjust. Thanks!

Looking really good. Is that the high end vinyl flooring? We went with that stuff several years ago after our 60g cube leaked on the oak hardwood floors we had. Once the oak had dried out completely, it was perfectly flat again but needed to be refinished. We decided to just overlay the oak with the vinyl planks as they hold up better to water and our dogs. If we ever decide to sell the house and yellow oak floors are in style at the time, we will pull the vinyl and refinish the hardwood. Kind of a win-win in the long run.

Yes, it is high end stone core vinyl planks. 100%water proof. Super heavy stuff, but easy to lay and cut.

Btw...I took the reflectors off and turned off the T5 lights for a few weeks. Everything looks great now ad I slowly supplement the T5s back into the mix.

No major updates but I did take the plastic wrap off the tank. After being on there for a long time it's amazing to see the tank! And some eye candy if my green leather showing off.

Looks amazing. The one funny, wierd thing I thought was I'd hate to lose the magnetic algea scrubber when I go around those corners. Lol

Thank you! 100% I've had that thought! Even at 6 ft 5 inches tall I still have to stretch to reach the bottom and back lol.

Hello guys, I need some insight on plumping for my water station. I will be using two 55g aquariums for water storage. This is mainly due to space constraints in my fish room. Below you will see my thoughts on plumping and how I plan to make a stand/rack to hold the aquariums. The bottom right tank is my 75g sump, small tank is a 20H frag tank, two tanks on the left are the 55g.

I did think of another add to the water station. I need to add a 55g to 55g connection for the ~110g water change scenario if needed.
