I'm taking back every good thing I said about apex trident system lol.
Tried to recalibrate my ph probe yesterday and was getting an error that my apex wasn't up to date but apex was telling me it was up to date so I tried to reboot now the guy on the phone with apex is telling me my wifi on my apex is jacked and they have to send me a loaner lol Not even 9 months old at this point.
Anyhow it's a good thing my old pinpoint ph probe is still working.
Just no monitoring for anything else, no dos and have 32 gallons of fresh salt water waiting to be changed out.

Still some kind of metal contamination. My mag is creeping back up to 1380 all on its own and haven't dosed any mag for about 9 months.
Running cuprisorb and trying to get the metal under control.

For sure man it is what it is I guess. Just sucks because I have dos set up and dosing on a regular schedule and I need to dial It back for big water changes and can't do that without hooking up an ethernet cable but I'm going to have to do it I guess lol. You would think that for the price of apex and all the gear that it would be built alot better than it is and reliable for at least a year haha wow. When it works it's great but I have had a few issues that jist should not exist for $2k. Even the little face plate constantly falls off the trident when you change the reagents. It's the little things I guess hahahaa

Alright seeing some color and polyp extension on the hard corals that made it.
That little torch head that I broke off/split in half and super glued "open" on accident is actually already healing its skeleton and can't really see the split on one side.
Replacement apex base should be here by Tuesday.
Zoas still aren't looking that great but some do look better.
I've changed at least 160 gallons of water on this system in the last 2 weeks and running cuprisorb to try and remove the metals left in the system.
Making progress I suppose.

Bella officially weighed in at 100lbs today:D

Sup all got my replacement apex base unit in and set up. From the looks of it I picked the wrong unit to buy with all the issues folks are having with the A3 I wish I would have gotten something different now. Not looking forward to replacing another one thats for sure.

Need a good remedy to strip the metal toxins out of my system. Mag hasn't moved since I set the new until up hasn't moved in a long time besides creep back up for awhile now.

In other news things are starting to look better. Dealing with low PH from water column bloom so going to have to chill with the water changes.

Was messing around in fishroom this afternoon and really like this picture because it has most of my fish in it:D
20230609_150117.jpg

I have to tell ya this tank has been an extreme ride full of the highest of highs and lowest of lows and its nice to see my fish and corals coming back to life. Pretty sure I vacuumed out a pile of fish eggs from my clowns the other day. There was several months my powder brown wouldnt even come out to see me. My water was toxic and had no idea how to fix it or trouble shoot what was going. I only found the razor by chance because I decided to yank the racks off and clean the cyano from them.
It's hard to believe this tank was so full of mushrooms 9 months ago that they where literally eating themselves!
