The tank looks great !Came home to my ATO draining it's reservoir into the sump for no reason. This isn't the first time. So soon I'll be ditching this model for something more reliable. While I was in there, I turned it off and put my skimmer collection cup back in for the upcoming time away from the tank. All in all, things look good tonight. Well, that is after I cleaned off all the corals on the bottom of the tank.
I see a lot of folks asking about gobies and if they should get them. Here is a quick shot of mine doing what he does best. The plan was to get him after I got rid of the corals, but that didn't work out. On top of that, I clean off the acrylic rack daily as well as blow off each piece of coral.
This is now multiple times a day and corals gave started to suffer. I turned up the flow and changed the lighting to what I want for the long run anyway. Next is to get these corals out and up in the tank. Hopefully this weekend yields results.
Sorry for the bad pics. Playing around with settings on my phone and will check it out as it posts.
Thanks bud. By next weekend all the coral will be off the sand bed. Just need to finish the other tank. [emoji3]sucks about your brain coral though...My gobies killed one brain coral by burying it. Good to see your tank keeps moving forward!
Sorry my friend, it seems we all have fat fingers...
Great pictures and a job well done, very nice!Today was a busy day! Finally got the zoa rock out of my tank and helped my buddy "finish" the build of my 75 he bought off me.
He painted the stand white and the tank black. He painted the back of the sump black and chose the plumbing. From there I went to work and got it plumbed up for him. He also drilled the back and added an overflow a member on here recommended.
After 12 hours of mixing, laying out, gluing and chasing the decisions as they changed, I left his house. Happy to see my old girl live on and bring his family some happiness.
Thank you! It was a ton of work but it was a lot of fun. Just got the update that the tank is running great and now we are building the silencer for the drain. :d happy to see it making others happy. And the paint job turned out amazingGreat pictures and a job well done, very nice!
