Can you just top it off a little more? Shouldn't be an issue but will rise with evaporation

If using a refractometer make sure to calibrate it before every use.

You are OK.
Do not change anything too fast.
Invertebrates are much more sensitive than fish, fyi.

Shouldn't ever be a time when it goes that high. Mix your water to where it should be and top off daily or with ATO of rodi

So if it goes above 1.032 i should fix right away?
You don’t want your salinity fluctuating all over the place. I’m just saying that 1.027 is normal for reef fish, but you need to keep your salinity as constant as possible and make any adjustments up or down slowly.
