I normally feed my fish pellets around 8 am and pellets/frozen fish food around 5. I’m wondering since have an auto feed I use when I’m on vacation. Would it be better to drop a few pellets at 8am, 11am, 2pm, and 5pm. Frozen food at 5pm. Would love other input. Thanks

TBH, if your trip is not long, one doesn't need to feed them each day although the fish probably prefer that. I would be cautious about auto feeders if you haven't tested them, as leftover food can build up unwanted elements (i.e. nitrates, phosphates, etc.).

Would it be possible to share some other details by chance?

It depends on what kind of fish you have and what your current nutrients levels are.

The problem with an automatic feeder is they arent always accurate and can dump a lot extra food into your tank. And with pellets which are nutrient dense they can add a lot of nutrients into your tank.
