Has anyone on here setup a tank following the budget build series in the title? If so how's your tank doing now? If you have any, please post pics or a link to your build thread.

I don't doubt that he gives good advice. I'm just a little confused about the water changes. He says to do a 20-25% change in the water change episode. Then he talks about doing 2 50% water changes in the wrap up episode. So is it 20-25% or 50%?

Small frequent water changes are always better than large water changes unless there is a catastrophic issue. Stability is the most important thing when it comes to saltwater aquariums. No big fluctuations.
