Definitely broke the bank with latest haul...

*Buys another frag*
PURPLE MONSTER BOUNCE

This is not the official Purple Monster in the ReefBuilders Magazine but this jawbreaker does have all color variant of Red, Green Yellow, Purple, with the bubbles so technically can be classified as a true Purple Monster Bounce. Excited for the baby to grow up lookin like the momma~

All frags came in healthy which is always a blessing! However, the bounce mushroom must have gotten stressed and split during the shipment so I now have 2 Purple Monster Jawbreakers :)

Found the lineage and spoke to one of the original owners and was sent over this picture! Seems like they all consistently bounce and pull purple and greens so I'm excited for what is to come. I guess my tank is officially complete... For now

How many fish is considered too many fish for my IM 14g?

Current Inhabitants: 4
- Mandarin Pair (2)
- Orange Molly
- Neon Goby

Diehard Clownfish Fan.... If I pick up a pair, 6 fish is too much of a bio load for such a small tank?

My IM 14 that I started this summer has a clown, a neon goby and a pink streaked wrasse. I think that’s at the edge of too many fish so your plan feels too crowded. If you are set on the clown, I’d ditch the Molly and just get one clown.

It’s official… time to upgrade my tank.
I could not pass this opportunity up.

PNG True Percula Clownfish (Spawning Pair)
Amphiprion Percula

2009. The very first fish I bought with my own money. 6th grade (middle school) I was hustling Costco candy to classmates so I had enough ($18) to purchase my first Nemo!

Glad to finally own another spawning pair many years later… Wild Clownfish are different

Absolutely incredible specimens.
True Percula Egg Spawn!
True Percula Acclimation Short

Special Thank you to @greekspec2 for making this possible. Truly sentimental specimens that really tied me into this hobby. They are in great hands

My plan.. Upgrade to a new tank LOL

I love all my specimens and separating pairs are out of the question. The Molly is my working fish plus it's so cool. My little goldfish haha

Honestly it’s not THAT that big of a deal in the short term. You’ll probably just find that your nitrates and phosphates slowly march higher and higher. Weekly 5g water changes would help a lot, as well as being a little stingy on the food.

Thanks for the heads up! Attempting to incorporate Macro and Mangroves in hopes it'll reduce nitrates and phosphates ever so slightly. Already changing out 3 gal weekly so if I do notice a bump in nutrients, will increase to 5g.

Worse case scenario: I have a 40gal downstairs being prepped as we speak, can always move the clowns over so they have their own space. If so, might dabble and learn more about breeding

But the main goal over the next year is to at least upgrade to a 25gal which will hold all 6 fish.

Interesting tank. Following. Is that red/white gorg the Grubbs?
That’s an Australian Spider Sponge! Unfortunately I had to rehome since my tank was not suited long term… thankfully I got some good pictures to share :)

May they all heal and let the fun begin :)

Check out my newest Short on Fragging my Yellow Fiji Leather!
Sarcophyton Elegans Frag

PM if Interested

Update: These frags are super difficult..
They did say, Yellow Leathers are prone to just melting. or breaking apart quickly.. I guess the rumors were true.
