Sand bed has some green and red all mixed in there. Before it becomes a Christmas themed sandbed
It is mostly toward front
some Questions

1 normal?
2 problem?
3 if not normal what does it indicate
4 if it is a problem do I need more sand stirring things... I have snails in there that burrow I forget the variety name.

Just curious how this indicates a healthy sandbed? I have the same discoloration in my sand some looks like cyano red, some just light brown, etc...

just algae, its fine. most Ceriths are small, so maybe get something bigger if you wanna turn over the sandbed more, like a stocky cerith or two, those guys are amazing.
