Sasquatch of the hippo tang world

I've only heard that it exists, but have never have seen a pict of one. On the blue hippo tang, instead of where the black pallet hook creates a blue spot, it is a solid black. So you really have a two tone, black on top of blue, hippo tang.

Has there even been a sighting, or photographic proof?

I have seen pics like that. There are a few rare morphs of the pallet marking. I think one was on DD about a year ago

My old one, that has since died, somehow developed markings kinda like this and they never changed back. As a baby it had the standard markings, but the black on the "hook" spread until basically a big black blob was created.
