my apartment is an older building that is a leaky sieve for air. I'm in bed keeping warm with my cat acting as a heating pad on my lap. Not going outside I can tell you. Tank maintenance and water changes all around later when i feel warm and awake enough

Yes it is. All politics aside, San Diego is a pretty purple area. We currently have a democratic mayor, but our last one was republican. I think it keeps things balanced. We have camp Pendleton and lots of military, and of course we have richer people towards the coast and some pretty rural areas inland. Makes for a very decent place to live.
