So i found out yesterday my nitrates may actually be in the hundreds (and likely has been for months). How my whole tank isnt dead yet is a mystery to me. Feel like most people are like help my nitrates hit 40 and everything is dying, and im sitting over here at 300 (maybe) with the best PE ive ever had lol

He had an ICP come in over 300.
Yup, although my hanna continues to read 8, i did a bunch of test kits yesterday and they were kind of all of the place but trending on the high to very high side. Apparently a lot of them can be influenced by nitrite, though ATI did chromatography which doesn't look at nitrites. This hobby is so annoying sometimes

ICP - 300
Hanna - 8
Red Sea - 15
API - 80
Salifert -150+

gonna start a rehab for everyone who cant control their spending in these sales/threads.
At least i have the excuse that I still have a massively empty tank with open spots everywhere and plenty of spots for new rock. I'm lookin over here at @billyocean wondering when hes going to start stacking them on top of eachother :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

There's not many morning people here. Awake people, maybe, morning people probably only a few.
I’m awake and have the day off for a change. Almost posted earlier, but breakfast beckoned
