@billyocean do you recommend dosing kalkwasser instead of elements seperately? Just curious. Thinking of venturing into that for alk and calcium instead of individually dosing these things
Kalk won't keep up with my tanks needs for elements. I dose 16ml a day of flourine alone.

Spend a few years wiring up 6 and 8’ av equipment racks and I learned a few things happen

1) you become really good at it
2 you become sick of doing it

I’m done with those days. If I can hide it…rats nest. If it’s visible…then I’ll put the effort in

We want to try creating a referral program.

We are going to give this a try. If you refer someone who makes a purchase of at least $100 in real money ( Not including shipping), we will give them a $50 gift card. We will also give you a $50 gift card.

Maybe you know someone who would like to order some SBB corals. Offer it to them next time.

Thank you

Right on. Was just going to suggest using soda ash for ph boost but kalk is fine too.
So my plan is, and I get this from my past experience (I had a fairly successful Acro tank about 5 years ago and got out of the hobby after the move.

Dose calcium, magnesium and alkalinity
Then in my ATO mix in kalkwasser
Keep my skimmer on a co2 scrubber
Keep my windows open or maybe try getting some plants for the house (I feel like the amount of plants I’d need would be outrageous to even see a difference however)

If that doesn’t work then I’ll sell everything and move on lolol jk

Theres some hesitation on thr co2 scrubber amongst the higher end acro keepers as to whether or not to use one. Kalk isn't necessary but that's a camp either wanna roll with or dont. You could look into air exchangers which would be a solution for low ph as well.

When in doubt, listen to Billy and Baby Shark. They have a ton of practical knowledge and experience and are always willing to share it. You just have to trust the process and go with it.

Lots of ways to run a tank. Find someone(s) whose tank you like and ask them if you can copy their methods. Hopefully then you can emulate their success.

That's why I stuck it in the corner.
