@BasementBox this is my 2nd quarantine tank. It's hard to see, but there is an air stone below the heater. The blue hippo is hiding and so are the anthias. The bag on the right is a bag of media that was in my tank.

mmm. Okay, did a water change, admittedly it wasn't huge, but still did one.

Nitrates 42.5 phos .54 and alk 9.6 which seems to be on track after water changes I usually fall into the 9's.

besides more water changes, and feeding a little more conservatively, whats the best way to lower these in a measured and reasonable approach that wont risk a big bottom out.
