Chemiclean actually wasn't the worst process in the world, I didnt lose anything back when I had cyano early in my tank. Now dosing neonitro 14ml daily and neophos 2ml daily in a 70gal system to keep from bottoming out

underrated skimmer benefit is gas exchange, my skimmer pulls from the tank sure, but I also have the air intake going to a BRS co2 scrubber, gets my pH up much higher than it would be otherwise
