What do you all use to take pics. I may have to borrow my hubby's I-Phone14 to when mine arrive today
I use my Motorola Z3. Not highly recommended but better than my flip phone was!

Well just hooked up the seneye, yup a PAR meter a necessity. I went off of other people's settings and it was off, I was almost double the PAR I thought Just below the surface dead center of the light!!

But due to the spread most my corals were fine. Some were up to 100 PAR higher than I thought.

Raised the lights a few more inches to help decrease the hotspot increase the spread. Turn my light down 25% and I will probably try a diffuser panel.

Lesson learned!

Keep in mind par changes with water flow. Flow will lower par, so if you are taking readings without flow, it will be higher.

Yup measured with it on an off to see the difference. Considering a third fixture to even out the spread, or get a couple LED bars instead to reduce shadowing as the corals grow out.
