My company is still almost fully remote. So instead, they sent everyone a VERY generous Omaha Steak package. It obviously is not the holiday get together that allows people to become more than colleagues but it does show there are some good companies out there!

We used to get a nice catered Christmas dinner but for the last 2 years they have stopped doing it. This year they decided to give everyone a polo shirt....I would've preferred the steak.
The Christmas party that we are doing is just our department and we are all chipping in to pay for the food.
