Well I’ve got a go ahead. I’m going to be ordering the IM 15 gallon Nuvo. My goal is to use it as the Acro tank and possibly the new home for my PIA clowns.
You could also do it as a nem tank with the clowns so the nems you have don't wander over everything

You throw them at the power company people and tell them to hurry up of course
One problem I foresee withis solution….you cant beat a horse that’s already dead . Here’s your power co. employee . Found footage.

Thought about that but I think I need a separate tank for the Acros , at least for the moment. That may change in the future , we shall see.

Speaking of that I have a story. :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Lost power for almost 2 hours yesterday morning.

I was awaken about 7:30 to a loud BOOM and I thought a bright flash but you know, I was asleep. The power was out and I thought great, someone hit a pole or a transformer blew.

Yesterday afternoon had the children outside playing and we smelled something horrible. Walked around trying to figure out what it was. Came across a crispy squirrel below the utility, beneath the transformer.

So for dinner we had BBQ squirrel and roasted nuts.....

We have a few walnut trees in the neighborhood and plenty more tree rats.... unfortunately

So here’s what I’ll be setting up. I went a fair amount more expensive. But I’m pretty happy with the set up.

FiJi Cube 22.4 gallon AIO with Kraken lid added
Reefi Uno 2.0 light
Nero 3 pump
Sicce 270 gph pumps as needed(non adjustable flow)
Rock from the big tank for seeding and aquascaping.
‘Haven’t decided on sand yet. May go bare bottom.

Hmm I have those readily available to me at work. Maybe I need to grab a couple. How do you make them work for you?
I haven't yet but have plenty of uses for them otherwise.

Personally I would just tie them into a UPS. I think there's a thread on here about upgrading them with more batteries.

Awesome. Clear instructions for someone that is not super educated on power supplies and batteries and things. I think I can do this relatively cheap. Added to the bookmarks for a later project.

If it's not a display then bare bottom.
Looks like sand then. I’ll get some of the standard FiJi Pink Live sand. I was also thinking about falling rocks ….

Bare bottom is way more functional..I just like the look of sand if it's on display
I was also thinking about if I added a fish or two and depending having sand might be a good idea. I also like the look of sand, at least when it’s clean.

Is there an easier way to do this KFC dip than the way they tell you to do it in the instructions? It sounds like they want you to use a 4 gallon tank with a hang on back filter and heater etc. In your experience, Can I do it in a smaller amount of water by cutting the ingredients down? It seems like alot of water to waste to put one small hammer in. If not, can I just stick it in a 5 gallon bucket with a powerhead or something?
