i clean it in RODI monthly, no issues with the float but the sensor seems to get jacked up more often than id like
It's probably a film on it from something in your tank...if you make it a habit to at least wipe it off once a week or so it should be fine.

The amount of racks in tanks I've seen since I've started SBB sales has grown significantly..lol
Thinking getting 1 more rack. Can't wait to have hubby hang up my Quanta bars this week. Btw. I didn't noticed until now, I ordered pink rack because my girls loves pink and I got orange.

I think I might want to either rise up the light a bit in the nano. The corals, some of them at least were looking like they wished it wasn’t so bright. Or figure out how to dial them down. Now that the lights are in evening mode I’m starting to see more extension.

There's probably an acclimation mode.

@Not woodyarmadillo Here's the angry unicorn and some others I just took. Hard to get the yellow from the tips, I'll have to get a better angle after I move them this week.

Yup looking good! I still love that green crack so much! Lol yeah this will be my I think 4th order from SBB and the first time they haven’t had great PE straight out of the box so they may have got a little stressed shipping but they’re coming around.

The angry unicorn is so white it just looks wrong but I am seeing some yellow tips as well. I’m pretty sure it’s doing just fine. Excited to see some big yellow polyps coming out of it! Send photos if you start seeing some good PE.

Yeah...but if that reefi is dropping 600 par on em....
They are crazy bright. Like I said the controls are kludgey so I’m going to have to experiment.

@steveschuerger it's a 270 watt light..lol..one must tread gently till you know a par idea with relation to height. It's strong AF so a xr15 at 100% is like that light at 37%

Anyone know any info on a mini nem like this? It’s a red mini carpet nem. Just wondering if it will stay small and not cause me problems in a nano full of things I like.
