@stewy14 I didn't mean to stir the pot this much. My main point is that you don't know the difference between thriving and surviving. Based on the picture you posted, and the one posted from the sale, I wouldn't say that coral is thriving.

Thriving means that it would be flourishing and growing. I don't see any growth. I'm not knocking you. Some of your corals are surviving, and that's good. You are gaining experience and knowledge. I will say that it is highly unlikely that an acro will thrive in an immature tank. I'm speaking from experience, and I'm sure many here will agree.

I hope you don't feel like I'm putting you down in any way. Just trying to get you to learn a little more before throwing more money and corals away.

When you put it in your tank and a few days or weeks later it looks better than the vendor photo…THAT is what thriving is
