Man that suck is super sick! I'm not a big Ford person but I'd more than happily trade my paychecks for that thing. Man you just out trucked me on a reef forum! I need to step my game up. Currently looking at adding the Peragon retracting/removable bed cover. It's $799 but $100 off right now. I shouldn't do it right now but seems like a great value.

Watch all the little vids if you aren't familiar.

Of course I want a lift, bigger tires, exhaust, cold air intake, and probably could go on and on. I really need to win the lotto. Trying my best to not put anything on credit lol.

I currently wash my truck every weekend and it of course rains every week. Very happy and proud of my truck obviously. The bad thing is when I like something I get hooooked!

Wow very nice man.
Really beautiful stuff!

Thanks guys! I'm still fighting this dang hair algea. I scrub it off and if course it comes right back. Kind of like when Santa tried to shave his beard in Santa Clause.

Been real busy so haven't had time to look into a better option than this insanity of manually fighting with the hair alge

It looks great man! You gotta teach me your washing secrets!

You don't want to get any spider webbed scratches or swirls in your paint. It's really important to use a quality microfiber washmit and two buckets. One bucket for soapy water and one bucket to rinse out the dirt from the mit into. You want to keep your soapy bucket and mit as clean as possible.

Gently glide over the panels, no hard pressure. Make sure to rinse off the vehicle well first of course. And when drying you need to pat dry with a high quality shammy (however you spell it) and/or a high quality microfiber towel. Always pat gently, never rub. Lol I'm no expert but I try my best to take care when washing the ride.

Well Friday I decided I've had enough of this bryopsis or GHA or whatever it is. Comes back harder and stronger every time I clean it off. Ordered some Vibrant and Fluconazole and I'm currently waiting for it to arrive. Well Friday I had two wisdom teeth removed and planed to do my water change then. Well I ended up sleeping the day away on pain pills with orders not to do anything strenuous. Saturday I was busy watching the kiddos (I don't like to do water changes unless my singnificant other is home to wrangle up the kids). Sunday I worked on fiancee's car all day. Was supposed to be a 1 hour job but you know how that goes. Adulting...They said it would be fun...

Well long story short I'm behind on my water change a few days, no biggie as I'm doing it as we speak. Well looks like the bryopsis or whatever it is took over one of my corals. All the others seem OK. The bright side is I have two of this particular coral and the other one is still alive and healthy.

2 weeks into my vibrant and flucanazole treatment. Going to go one more week. Looks to be working. I'll admit the tank needs a little bit of work. Never finished gluing down all my coral. Also I need to add some more sand. But all in all things are going well.

Wow that really worked man. What was your dose you followed for that? I wonder if that would work on my Sea lettuce problem...

Flucanazole 200mg per 10 gallons. I estimated my volume right at 50 gallons. May be a few more but close enough. I dosed 1000mg or 1gram if my mathematics is correct lol.

Vibrant 1ml per 10 gallons for a total of 5ml per the bottles instructions. I'm honestly not sure which one worked as I don't know if it was GHA or bryopsis. I forget which med was for which at this point. I read they could be dosed at the same time so figured might as well.

Here are some pics under whites that I just took. Most of my corals were getting ready for bed. I'm a little ashamed of how I've let the corals fall over and become a little cluttered but some new sand and glue should fix that right up. I'm saving up for a road trip in the new truck to Pensacola in a few weeks so the budget for everything is locked up at the moment.

On of my concerns is that the algea comes back after dosing but I'm only feeding every other day for a while now so we'll see. Fish still seem happy and healthy.

Well acro growth has been spotty. I feel that the algea was really putting a cramp on their style and out competing them for nutrients. I see a little growth here and there but nothing to write home about.

And I know what you mean. I'm a little disappointed in myself! I didn't go to college to be on a restrictive budget. I really need to win the lotto right about now. Since I've been with my fiancee (like 6 years now, I lose count, I can barely remember what I ate yesterday) we've never been out the state of Texas. That along with the fact that I have a new truck and Pensicola is only 2 tanks and 11 hours away has motivated me to just make it happen.

Trying to do it without dipping into my savings or putting anything on credit. Good thing I bought all the fish stuff when I did lol because I feel like I'm pretty set for a little while. I'll kick it back into high gear once some more funds are secured (winning the lotto?) And the tank has stabilized.

Looking great @Philipgonzales3 ! I used the Fluconazole for algae in my 50g and it worked wonders after the full 3 weeks. I think it's a real game changer for the hobby!

Thanks! It was really a losing battle. I was feeding half a cube every other day with no other supplemental feeding and tried manually removing it but that just made it worse. I tried hydrogen peroxide but it only seemed to slow it down a bit. Fingers crossed that things will smooth out from here.

Make sure to stop in Appalachicola and feed her some fresh oysters. You might make a 3rd little treasure. It's only $, you can make more everyday forever.

I'll add it to the list. We are going to spend two nights in New Orleans on the way back, weather permitting. Plan to get some gator, gumbo, and some beignets. I always remember my mom and her boyfriend taking us on road trips to Flordia/California and every summer was spent at six flags and all these fun little trips so I'm trying to prioritize and do the same for my little family.
