What’s the difference between these two? I bought one of each from separate transactions but look the same. Are they the same coral just different lineage?

Just send one to me, I'll take it
I could definitely make you a frag(s). Since I got a small taste of your collection I’ve been wanting more. We could trade acros or mushrooms or torches since we aren’t terribly far from each other. :)

Do you have pics? My sc has more polyp extension but that’s about all the difference I see but then again I have some color blindness :p

I'll have to see if I took pictures. Sadly I've lost the colonies and started again with frags- both of which never made it

It's obvious tho, the one that's different has zero blue body (or whatever color people want to call it) with yellow green polyp

The Canada is the one I'm leaking towards as being different but it's polyps are orange and body is more cream in color not blue/green

This is my RRC OP
3D0149D1-CA51-49A1-97C4-523D7156618B.jpeg

Looks just like my SCOP
My mistake then, Canada and Sexy are the same acro, Asia is not the same

I had gone as far as grafting/fusing both canada and sexys and the grow together and formed a single acro- I'd suspect different acros would battle and someone's going to die.

That didn't happen and it's as close to something scientific as I could do lol

Thank you for the picture

I have it elevated because of all the detritus from the fish. It seems to always cover the base of the acros and end up killing them from the base

I have both, they are very different. Maybe because it is the RR "Ultimate" Orange Passion vs. RR Orange Passion.

Those are some nice pictures. What do you use to take pictures? The ultimate passion looks amazing btw

SCOP and RRC were the same coral. IIRC, RRA was a coral imported by some of the people that started getting supplied by RRA (TGC?) when they came into existence, and most of the reef raft asia stuff was pretty unreliable as they were importing wild colonies and calling them the same name of corals that had already been released even though they were clearly a different colony and freshly imported. I remember watching some of them peel and RTN at MACNA in Denver after finding it laughable they were trying to pass it off as the same coral.

Either way, RRC/A and SC were about as shady/sketchy as coral businesses come. Nice coral though...
