Hey Everyone, its been a few years since I have been in the hobby, but now I have the time and money to jump back in. Im in a unique situation where my other main hobbies are CNC Routing, 3d Printing, and CAD design, so I plan to DIY a lot of this build.

The Plan:
-150 Gal SCA, 60x24x24 Tank
-Custom Built Stand by me, CNC Routed laminated marine plywood
-Custom Built Sump by me, CNC Routed PVC and Acrylic
-Apex Controller
-3x Nicrew LED 150w Controlled by Apex
-Apex ATO kit with Leak Detection sensor
-Neptune Cor-20 return pump
-Skimmer undecided
-2x Neptune Wav for circulation
-Neptune GRO light for Fuge
-Custom Roller Filter by me PVC/Acrylic
-2x BRS Titanium Heaters, with 2x BRS Heater controller for redundancy
-Probable -- Carbon Filter, Kalkwasser Dosing/Reactor, GFO maybe?

Looks like I will start out pretty heavy into the Neptune line of equipment, all the integrations they have built seem really great if they actually work!

Here is a pic of how the stand design, I have fancy wall panels in my office and I plan to make the stand look as though its just an extension of the wall. Sump and gear will still be inside the stand. There is an office closet that sits behind the left 12" or so of the stand which is where I will keep the ATO tank and electrical gear.

Things to decide:
-Sump layout
-Dosing and/or reactors... what all do I want
-which skimmer

Tank should be here this week, ill take the official measurement and start the stand design and build.

Thanks for the follow, let me know what you think about the equipment.

Couple of updates, Tank is already in town and will be delivered tomorrow. Ordered almost all of the equipment and it should be coming in over the next few days. I went ahead and did some design work on the stand. Its a first draft without a lot of detail, but gives a general idea of how I will laminated the 3/4" ply to make a sturdy frame. The colors are only there to show the different layers, it will be all white when complete.

Tank has been delivered, most of my equipment is also here. Finalized the stand design and will grab the wood today so I can get to cutting this weekend.
The closet will house most of my electronics and my RODI, plus store all the "Stuff", just have to clean it out and re-work the shelving.

Dry fitting the stand, I’ve got some CAD and CNC videos I will post once I get them compiled. In the process of priming the stand now and will make the final adjustments later today before the paint goes on.

Fusion 360 Design Video, its just a 10x speed screen cast. If there was enough interest I could go step by step.

Been hard at work on peripherals but also made some process on the display tank. Was able to get the stand finished and painted, so I moved it inside and set the tank on it. Filled it full of water for the leak test and stand leveling. It was within 1/16” front to back but still I decided to drain and shim to try and get it perfect.
In the meantime I’ve been finishing up my sump design and filter roller design.

Progress as promised.. been working on the sump all week and finally got it all glued up and leak tested.

Built a little spill containment tray that sits under my sump, might be able to catch a gallon of water or so, just a little insurance.

Got the sump in place and started checking the equipment to see how it fits and how I want to run the cables. I plan to drill holes in the upper back part of the sump to let all the cabling out in a clean way.

I like how the sump matches the stand. I brute forced my stand out of 2x4s and 2x6s, but I'm going to put solid wood frame with removable raised panel doors.

I really like the idea of having a tray underneath the sump. I might end up doing that instead of epoxy sealing my entire bottom plate
