My new lights arrived, but I’m at work for back-to-back 14’s. ugh

Nice build so far and good luck with your gem tang! I'm local to your area and would love to check out your tank/living edge top :) (Olmsted Falls). Can you PM me who made the tank?

Aquatica in Valley City/Grafton made it...... Jordan and Steve!

Ahh they are a great store, very reasonable price. How do you like it so far? Any issues/things you would change? Looking to do a 10-12 ft build myself :/

I would change the stand (steel tubing) to give more room underneath, probably a bigger sump, etc. As far as the tank itself, I’m pretty happy...... wish I would have turned it into a big peninsula, but maybe next time!

Maybe a closed loop?

Need to program still.

I guess I set the T5’s to a basic timer? Fixtures don’t even have an on/off switch......

I love your carpet pattern, REDRUM
haha. Thanks.

I had a Shining themed bathroom at one point........ it was a 113 year old house, and an attic bathroom that really wasn’t needed..... so I had fun with it. Will find you some pics

Edit: Ended up on ceiling etc. You get the point

Couple newer ones. Had some leaky plumbing in one of the UVs due to my own stupidity cutting corners!

I think I am due to replenish carbon too...... just afraid to make any changes while things are going well.

I want better access to my sump. I think I am going to re-plumb everything to an external (as in no longer under the stand) sump. That is the “summer goal”

I will probably not be able to get the sump out that is in there now (already forgot who makes it.... it’s an emerald but purple? heck I don’t know)

Kinda sucks. I like the sump for what it is, just not WHERE it is

I just recently built and moved my sump to the basement and had the same problem I installed my sump under my tank before the tank went up and I couldn't get it out... in one piece. I was gonna leave it, but really hated loosing all.thay space for storage so I broke it apart and removed it

Yep.... it’s probably 9 months old, but I will break it apart if I have to.

I had a power outage, many losses i. the coral department........ been busy with many other aspects of life (mostly jeep obsession) but here is how she sits now. Not as pretty probably, but notable tank details include:

Anemones are taking over
Cowfish is growing like you’d expect
Torch grew from a few heads to 25+
Gem Tang is doing awesome
