Scraping brown algae off the glass of a 2 month old tank - yes or no?

I know brown algae is a part of many new tanks and not an issue, but wondering whether it is worth scraping off the glass so the tank looks more appealing? Will this unsettle the water parameters or am I ok to go ahead?

Good practice. Go for it.
