It’s oak plywood…double layered 3/4”. Glued screwed and sealed. I actually used a torch on it to raise the grain…originally it was stained gray…decided I did not care for the gray, so sanded it down and coated with poly…original color…

For now it mostly picks at the rocks, I feed a mix of frozen mysis and another frozen cube called marine cuisine plus flake and pellets. I have seen it go after both the frozen and flakes. It has thickened up a good bit in the last week

the gha is gone now. There are some macros that came in on the KP rock that seems to be growing pretty well in the display…oh yeah, moved some of the KP rock to the display a few weeks ago.
Also, moved this over from the 25 lagoon today…kinda wanted to test the waters with the angel and see if it was going to pick at corals or not…so far so good

So the pump started going out on my RO 152s Skimmer a couple of weeks ago. Have pulled it out and cleaned, put back together and still can barely get any output on it, even after raising the water level in the skimmer section of my sump and closing off the gate valve to almost fully closed. Can’t find a replacement pump for it in stock anywhere either. @Dolelo96 was kind enough to offer me a RO Regal 200sss for a price I could not refuse . The Regal got here today, and I’ve got it assembled, will install it tomorrow night after work. I must say, this thing is huge :astonished-face:…needless to say, I will need MOAR fish just to keep up with the skimmer:rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Got the phyto and pod tanks running today. Hoping to maintain a continuous supply of pods…we will see how that works out. The left tank is phyto, got my culture from Mercer of Montana, have used theirs in the past with great results. Center tank is Tigris pods, right tank is Apex (Apocyclops) pods, got them from Reef Nutrition.

I have another culture disc, Petri dish, just in case. I will use part of the tank that is running now to start another culture after I harvest, as long as I don’t crash it :winking-face:

So my good friend @Dolelo96 sent me some corals for the 120 yesterday, UPS delivered them this morning. The box was soaked when they delivered it, upon opening, the softball sized birds nest had punctured it’s bag and another bag in the box…guess UPS was playing rugby with the box…ended up moving everything into a 3 gallon bucket with an air pump until I could get home from work(went across the street to the pet store and got some sw from them to make sure I had enough to cover the corals. So far everything looks pretty good

i ended up with a couple of “frags” of the birds nest…first one went into the 25 lagoon, the other is in the 120…
