So, after 7 years out of the hobby, 2 years of lurking around here and collecting parts and pieces, I am finally almost ready to add water to the new set up.

First up, the equipment list. You'll have to forgive in advance, I may very well leave stuff off, after all, I have been collecting for about 2 years. [emoji12]

Marineland 75 gallon tank-drilled for overflow and closed loop
Exotic Marine Systems 35 inch Overflow
Trigger Systems Ruby Elite 36 sump
Reef Octopus Varios 6 for closed loop
Oceans Motions 4 way for closed loop
Reef Octopus Varios 2, may be a 4, would have to go upstairs and look [emoji4] , for return
Reef Octopus Classic 152S Skimmer
Couple of Finnex 300 watt titanium heaters
Tunze ATO
Spectrapure MaxCap RO/DI System
SB Reeflights 32" WiFi light
Kessil H80 fuge light/with controller
Power distribution panel
Approx 60 lbs Marco shelf rock
Approx 50 lbs BRS Pukani rock
Approx 60 lbs of unknown rock from the last tank I had
No, I'm not using all of the rock. I have had a hard time figuring out a way to incorporate the Marco shelf rock into the hardscape. I'll get pictures of my scape idea tomorrow. Don't wanna go upstairs right now [emoji29]

Extras:
Couple of different sized Jebao DC pumps
40 gal breeder from the Petco $1/gal sale
Finnex 500 watt titanium heater
Probably some other stuff...I'll list it as I find it [emoji13]

So far I have my stand and canopy built, minus some trim pieces. Stained the stand and canopy but still need to poly it.
Tank is drilled, sorry, I don't think I took pictures that day.

Now for what everybody really wants...a few pictures

Good start!
Thanks. It's taken too long in my opinion to get to this point, but with my work schedule and everything else that's gone on in the last 2 years I haven't been able to work on it much. Still only get to work on it about every other weekend. But it is coming along nicely now.

Been a while, so thought I might give a little update. Finally got a couple of coats of Satin Poly on my canopy last week and worked on my rock scape Saturday during the monsoon we had here. Finished drilling all the holes in the stand for plumbing and started applying poly to the stand today after work. Hopefully can get the rest of the stand polyed tomorrow. Going out of town this weekend so trying to get as much done as I can...I'm beyond ready to put water in this thing.

Just thought I'd stop by for a moment and give a small update. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do much with the tank since my last update. I've been out of town 4 out of the last 6 weeks taking care of my grandmother, who is confined to her home and on hospice care, after my uncle who is her caregiver had a massive heart attack in mid April. Thankfully, he is improving now and was moved to a rehab facility last Friday after 40 some odd days in CICU.

I have managed, in the small amount of time I've had at home, to figure out the mounting of my Oceans Motions 4-way unit and the plumbing layout for it. I still need to pick up a few pvc fittings for it and get everything glued up. I have all my outlets in the tank layer out and installed, but might change them up a little bit after I do a flow test. Once I'm done with that I'll be plumbing up my sump, add water, salt and sand. I'm so close I can taste the salt.

I dont have pictures of the little bit I have done when home, but will get some this weekend.
