Hi all. This is my first tank. It is just over two years old. Enjoy.
——

TANK: Waterbox 10 CUBE
Dimensions: 13.8"×14.2"×13.8"

STAND: Coralife 16 Stand

FILTRATION: The CUBE has a 3 chamber built-in. In the first chamber, I have removed the filter sock and replaced with a Kraken Reef media cup filled with filter floss (replaced weekly). The bottom of the chamber holds a bag of Seachem Matrix.
The second chamber has an AquaticLife115 mini skimmer which I modified to fit by removing the brackets. The bottom of the tank holds another bag of Matrix, along with smaller bags of GFO, Chemipure and Phosguard. The 3rd chamber holds my heater (Eheim Jager on an Inkbird WiFi) and Sicce Nano return pump.

POWERHEAD: InnovativeMarine Wavelink Desktop set to level 1, pulse; I have this positioned to ricochet off the left side of the glass and surface and creates a nice wave pattern in the tank combined with some turbulent flow when it meets the return flow.

LIGHT: AI Prime 16HD w/ custom modified Saxby schedule, 12 hr 4-4-4

I started with cured live rock and live sand, and had in mind the Cambrian Explosion as the inspiration for my tank. So I took it very slow — adding nothing for a long while until I began to see algae growing, then I added live phytoplankton and copepods. Then a few hermits… then a few corals and fish. It took about 8 months to mature.

SALT: Tropic Marin Pro (Germany) w/ RODI

DOSING:
2ml Seachem Reef Fusion 2 daily
(Part 1 every two days)

FEEDING:
Reef Energy AB+ 2ml twice a week
Live phytoplankton 5ml daily
5 drops Brightwell Coral Aminos daily
Clownfish get fed NLS pellets twice a week

MAINTENANCE:
Weekly 20% water changes, empty filter cup and change out filter floss
Blast sand with Turkey baster
Keep hands out of tank

Nice build but reading I see you use GFO and phosgurad. Is there a reason for both? I would think you could get ride of the phosgurad. But then again tank looks great so maybe leave alone.
