I think he needs it too! LoL Its too late for me, my order is already packed and going out this afternoon.

Hey, fairly sure they'd hold your order, pop it open and add 1 little beautiful wrasse to it, if you called them. ;););)

Got a good look at my lone hermit. Got him with my first cleanup crew order from Reef-cleaners 3 years ago. Shell’s about 2.5”.

Scurvy I see TSM has a lineatus on there site.
Interesting that the female is priced higher than the male.... thats usually the other way around.

And that hermits a terror. I now inly buy dwarfs but I didn't know any better when ai started. He crushes colonies like its his job.

I saw that the female was more money and was confused. Not sure I’m ready to drop that much on a lineatus. Life decisions lol

How is your Rhomboid doing? That is a must have also. Wish mine made it through qt.
She’s doing well. Wound up running through copper power and General Cure with the one Anthias that survived. Eating like a pig. Comes out of copper Sunday.

That makes me happy to hear. After such devastation it must have been hard not walking away.
Indeed it was! Im glad I didn't but I was close to taking a good long break. If the velvet reappeared after adding them back to the main display I was breaking down the large tank and just gonna keep the biocube running for a while til I found that urge again.

Guess it was a new fish added with velvet?
How long after adding it did it take for the outbreak?
Yep, it was the Swallowtail Angel. It was 3 or 4 days I think before I noticed some spots appearing on everyone. Then another 2 or 3 before I realized it wasn’t ich but velvet.

I have seen some velvet outbreaks after yours that took longer than I expected too. With every disease outbreak documented, I learn something. Maybe in the future these outbreaks will be a thing of the past.

My response time was pretty slow comparatively speaking. I see lots of people lose the entire tank in 48 hours. For me it was close to 7 days from when i first saw symptoms to when I got them into therapeutic copper. Actually Surprised I was able to save the six I did.

It honestly gives me hope that I do have some time to save them.

And a job well done to that. I lost 4 fish during my outbreak too. Never again.
