Keith's been busy. Nice chatting with u today Cory..

I'll seeya tomorrow
Same here, I sent him a couple of texts earlier. Im sure he’ll touch base when he can.

Ran some tests. Things have been pretty stable of late!

Nitrate: 5ppm
PO4: .06
Dkh: 7.8

Replaced Carbon and Phosguard this evening and do believe Im going to skip my planned water change and use the fresh mix in the Biocube.

Really happy with the trend so something is sure to bite me in the **** soon!

Phosguard is a stripper isnt it? Careful man. I think, but I could be wrong, u want phosbond now to maintain it.

Yep, I dig strippers! Wait can we say that anymore? Dancers lol

I use it lightly. Just a few teaspoons on top of the carbon with super low flow through. Maybe 120gph if I'm lucky.

I knew I was gonna regret that comment. Haha.

I just keep a bag of each in my first drain compartment in the sump. The flow is perfect there.

The sentiment is the same either way... Always be careful with strippers!

I'm waiting for Keith to post a pic of acetone or mineral spirits with dollar bills falling all around it.

Algae’s doing what algae does, in the sump hopefully growing :)

The leafy ogo is cool. I almost want it in the display but don't want the tangs to demolish it. Dropped a small piece of ulva in the display. The Yellow got to it first and wasn't up for sharing! Hoping the chaeto doesn't choke it all out. May try putting an egg crate divider in the fuge.

Sounds efficient. It is not a display refugium.
It is efficient. If im not diligent enough in harvesting it packs wall to wall with chaeto.

Right now I've got a Triton sump but someday Id love to run a display refugium. Plan on using the Biocube, removing the rear compartments and drilling it for an overflow and return. No space to do it where the tank sits now but I envision lots of algae and pipefish in it.

Glad to hear it's all thumbs up. If u need a light I have a backup! :p
