Hi we are currently in a soft roll out making the roller mat / scrubber combos by the order. Protein skimmers are in the warehouse now. We are currently getting skimmers into end users and store owners hands. Within 3-6 months we will begin bulk production of the combo units. You will be impressed with the build quality and performance.

What is the difference between the skimmer listed in your site and that sold on Amazon for 100$ more? I don’t see a model moniker difference.

@rhostam It’s the same product. Amazon charges merchants a large referral fee when a product is purchased from their site (many people don’t realize this). So, the cost is lower if you order direct from the manufacturer.

@Bryant1991 yes it’s free but also many people don’t enjoy it and neglect to do it. Plus, our skimmer connects directly to our roller mat so you’re getting multiple uses out of the fleece (the fleece cleans the protein skimmer, roller mat and algae scrubber). So, for people who want a roller mat and also run a skimmer, the benefits are clear.

@cpbartak the footprint about the size of a sheet of paper. In the link above you can download and print the pdf. You can cut the border with scissors and try different orientations if you need to. You will need to account for about 3” clearance for plumbing in the back, so it will fit a 12” wide sump like a 20H or 20L and very easily a 40B. The skimmer is 4.5” wide and the roller mat about 6.5”. It’s a much smaller footprint than would be possible with any other configuration. If you have a specific sump in mind, send us your dimensions or sump model and we can make a render for you to show you what it would look like for spacing.
