seneye/apex on a short term tank?

trying to decide if I want to commit to an apex now on a tank I know is only going to be up for a couple of years or if it would be better to go with a cheaper seneye setup that is obviously more monitor than a controller.

Obviously it’s your money. But I wouldn’t get either. I ran my tanks for over 20 years without a controller. I only use one now because I travel quite a bit. They are nice but not necessary IME.
