Hey all - I recently got a seneye reef monitor, and after soaking the slide for 48hrs and putting it in the tank I've been a little surprised as it's readings are way off. My pH according to 2 different test kits is 8.3, but the seneye says 7.5, and my ammonia (new tank cycling so expecting it to be high at this point) is around 1.2ppm nh3+nh4 (calculated roughly 0.12 just nh3) but the seneye says 0.05ppm.
I've already put another slide in to soak so I can test that one (waste of a few quid if it doesn't help) but I noticed that there are some trimming settings available. I couldn't find anything online about how best to calibrate these or if I should even have to in normal circumstances - so I wanted to ask, has anyone else had to trim out their seneye reef monitors? Are they accurate at all? Could I have got a dodgy unit?
Thanks,
Will

I found this issue with the ph aswell. If you have selected in the settings "tick for reef tank" or whatever it says. Untick it, that fixed my issue

We have a thread on fixing those initial misreads at least for the ammonia one:
