Little update. After a 10 minute debate session with the manager I was able to get another tank. Im gonna water test it this evening and if it passes I will start drilling and painting. I will be making a build thread for this setup and recording a few videos for youtube to help anyone else wanting to go this route.

Good info I have one order also. Will def leak test it before I do anything else. Im going 90% acros so thinking a gyre would be perfect for this tank.

I have this same tank set up as a aio. I'm running a jaebo DCT4000. I used this pump because it's the same one I'm using in my dt so I could have one spare pump for both tanks. The 4000 works but could have gone a little smaller. I have the pump turned all the way down.

Hopefully after work i can at least get the tank drilled and painted. And while im picking out other parts and components i have enough lumber to build the stand.

Still waiting on some plumbing and the overflow bow. The second tank passed the leak test. I spent the day getting a stand built. Its 26x50. It will leave me with a 1 inch space all the way around the tank. The framework is done. Just need to wrap the back and sides in plywood and get some paint on it.

Last night i got the framework of the stand finished. The bottom is painted and both my return holes are drilled. Need to get the overflow drilled and the black painted, then move on to plumbing. The glass is a bit thinner but still enough to drill and feel scared the whole time. Using the weight of the drill and bit alone it took about 3 minutes to get a hole drilled.

Any suggestions for an overflow box?

Pictures to come, I farm and its busy season, only able to work on it a few minutes a night.
