So it turns out the reason for higher metal levels in the tank is due to a twist tie that fell in the ATO reservoir. It was actually tied to the cable for wire management that I did not see. The STN has slowed and some stopped completely.

The biocube is going through a complete tear down due to vermetid. I took all of the corals over to this tank while it is in rebuild mode.

Long overdue update. ICP test came back with elevated levels of heavy metals. Aluminum and tin are the culprit to the SPS STN’ing. Performed some water change over the past few weeks. I will continue to do 10-15% weekly water changes now. Lost a couple acros (rainbow loom, paletta pink tip) and both birdnest. The 500 degree lost some tissue but is still growing strong. Pc Superman and the green slimer are still STN’ing but are showing signs of slowing down. With it going downhill, I sort of neglected the tank which led it to continue

Bought a couple fish; leopard wrasse and a biota yellow tang.

Let’s see how I can turn this tank around.

Did I mention 3 radions? I bought a third about a month ago. I have yet to test the par. They are on the preset AB+ at 70% intensity. Mounted most of the corals on the rocks. The SPS have started to encrust and grow again. I’m hoping for them to just explode in growth.

This female cardinal was full of eggs on Saturday. On Sunday, the male next to her had a mouth full of eggs. I’m thinking about trying to raise the fry once released. Unfortunately, I cannot find any articles on raising blue eyed cardinal fries. Hopefully, it’s the same as banggai cardinals. It’ll be cool to grow them and share the tank bred fish to other hobbyist.

What lid did you end up purchasing? I have a 90.3 and about 2mths in. The only lid I can find that is pre-made is Top Lids for about 320 after shipping cost which is ridiculous. I am trying to find one that doesn't cost as much. I really need to get a lid so my little guys don't jump out.

Beautiful tank by the way.

Thank you. I bought the DD diy kit from brs. I didn’t cut it perfectly so it sits on top of the tank so it’s not really pretty. Ive had only one jumper that snuck between the tank and the lid, so it does the job I suppose. I really want to get a tops lid, and I was quoted about the same as you were.

Time for a much needed update.
Corals are doing well. PO4 went up as high as 0.27 ppm a couple of weeks ago, so I bought a reactor and some GFO. Nitrates are still 0, no matter how much I feed (3 times daily, HEAVILY, thus the high PO4.) The system is consuming a lot of alkalinity, not much calcium or magnesium. Corals are starting to grow. Here are some pictures. Enjoy.
