My biocube - all mushrooms and ricordea Yuma. Sadly it doesn’t look this great anymore some weird bacterial bloom or something caused almost all the red and green mushrooms to detach now I have only 4 reds and about 10 greens left in the tank. The Yuma’s and purple mushrooms never had an issue

This is pretty much my wife’s dream tank - what kind of lights/par/mounting height are you using?

Here's my garden in the making. There's lots of tiny ones under them too! Got the rock from another reefer, now I just need to find more mushrooms ;Woot

I attached a video of the flow they're in - seem to be happy there and I wouldn't mind if one or two moved but is it too much perhaps?

How do you like your hybrid setup? I'm looking to add one to my setup but my concern would be bulb replacement...not sure why thats my main concern lol
Love it. Running ATI B+ & C+ for 4hrs each day along with the Radion (10hrs) for well over a year. They’re still as bright as I remember the first day. I’ve read 6-8 months to replace but I’ll do it when they burn out :D

Shrooms on the lower level tend to spread out a bit larger than the upper ledge with lower PAR. Upper ledge 110 PAR, lower ledge 90 PAR. Flow isn’t too bad, I have two Jebaos OW10, one is pointed behind the scape for a racetrack flow, second faces forward to slow the downdraft from the return. The drop actually has the best spot for placement. Put the mama jawbreaker there last week and she started reaching out to drop babies on the level change wall. Flow there is a circular rotation like air going over a truck bed without a cab if that makes sense.

Nice! I really just want space for them to grow and propagate and not have to worry about them getting picked up by flow. My poor Jawbreaker hasn’t moved even when I’ve given it space to grow. Right now it’s sitting in about 110 par before it was at that 90 range.

It’s an old 70 metal halide current USA sunpod. it’s an xm 20k bulb. Another older pic showing the light

I’m assuming you started with one type of each shroom? I like that it’s a dedicated system!

Thank you, Yes I started with a single of each. June will be 7 years up and running. I never started it as a strictly mushroom tank, it just evolved into it and I’m happy it did. 5g water change every 2 weeks, no dosing, no testing. Very simple and easy to maintain. The only thing I want to change is to add an ato.

New mushrooms came today... In the QT tank watching for pests. The color on them is amazing this is definitely why I want to find a good garden home for them.

Digging the structure on the orange vesicles. What is base color/colors on cap?

Was trying to get better pictures of it. It's purplish/ with a little rainbow color around the mouth. My poor pictures don't do it justice.

Are those Ricordias?!? I've never seen them so extended! I'm hoping I can get some climbers like the discos. We have all types of mushrooms and yet the only ones that have moved are now sitting on the substrate
