Sharing the good news! Barrier Reef protection stepping up!

Hi all!
Firstly I apologize if this is in the wrong place (I did look around but saw nothing I could pin point along this topic ).
I saw this today & wanted to share!

A nice reminder it's not all doom & gloom for our sea-dwelling friends & serious attention is finally being given to global issues! (I did say FINALLY! & Let's see how long it lasts!....BUT good new is good news, even for a short time! )

My wonder, amazment & adoration of this eco system has widened so much since I started with this hobby & this article struck a chord so I wanted to share it with like-minded people.

The over all impression I get from this forum are the oceans exist to populate our tanks with captive fish, and any attemp to disrupt that trade gets fierce condemnation here.

Sadly this is isn't an eco friendly forum.

I have not been round long enough to experience what U mention but I believe only by staying positive & sharing REAL information will others also have their eyes opened, condemnation just puts people's hackels up & creates a bad vibe.

Either way, anyone who is truly passionate & loves their pets will logically appreciate efforts to protect where we (hopefully) sustainably get our pets..... If they don't, then, well.... Let's just say, some people should only open their mouths to eat! That is our burden ‍
