Here’s the latest addition, and getting towards the last (he says.....), other than anything very special that catches my eye, or maybe an odd wrasse etc.

Great new addition! We need an updated fish list. I find it hard to keep track. Couldn’t imagine trying to keep a head count at feeding time
I’ll try.... when I get bored with hours to spare! Lol

I’ve been after one of these for ages to try it and I’m not exactly expecting ‘king prawns’ but the ones I’ve grown the fish can hardly see ??

Seems like a complete waste of money for marine fish ?

What do you expect? The shrimp to be served up on a plate for the fish, complete with cutlery and a little napkin?

With Shaun the expectation is more likely spirits in a glass! ;Hilarious
Ha ha ha ha hardy ha....! Lol

I thought I might at least be able to see their little legs flapping or something ‘shrimp like’ as opposed to just dots!

Here’s a side shot...

Edit - don’t know what the site has done to the upload quality but hey here you go. The original looks far better....

Lol!

I like the powder blue tangs, I really really want one, but sadly no.

Ive read a lot about them and I’m just concerned about aggressive behaviour as it matures with all the other tangs I have so I think it’s one to maybe stay clear of.

Ill get an Achilles instead! Lol

So today, and because some idiot called Boris has closed the golf courses, you know the wide open spaces, a bit like parks which are open, were you aren’t near anyone else, I was very bored. I was going to go to the garden centre, which are open, and mix with all the old and vulnerable people who hang out together there in groups, but I thought it might be to dangerous.....

Anyway, my fish won’t even speak to me because there sick of me staring at them, so it was time to clean the DD 80w UV-C sterilisation device and change the bulb

Now for those who haven’t seen the 80w UV-C, the quartz cover gets covered in white calcium deposit so needs a soak in citric acid or cleaner of your choice to remove this. The quartz cover is a bit cumbersome to soak in anything because it’s long and thin

So using my superior brain power, what could I build, and what parts did I have left from the big build.......

Wallah! The patented quartz cover cleaning device!

This is a great idea and you should make a thread in the DIY forum about it so more people see it Shaun!

This coral has grown at an incredible rate

I’ve also today added another 40 hermit crabs and 20 Astrea snails because they were on offer at 50% off and I like a bargain!
