I’ve been to the LFS today. I ‘happen’ to be in the area.....

And 8 frags ‘fell’ into bags, mainly very nice SPS, and ended up in my tank. So along with the 6 or so I had delivered last week there all in place.

Here’s one of them

My car used to somehow mysteriously have an auto-pilot setting for the bar and LFS. ;)

Oh the other thing I’ve been doing today, is replenishing my wine stocks. I’ve been messing around with fish tanks for the last few months, and stocks of ‘Shaun’s shine’ are getting to dangerous levels that make me nervous, that I might have to buy some!

So, 30 bottles of Italian Amarone, 30 bottles of Australian Cabernet/Shiraz, 30 bottles of Pinot Grigio and 30 bottles of white Zinfandel. That’s should quench my thirst for at least 4 weeks!! Lol

wow great tank. I haven't read through all posts but what lights are you running?
Hi and thanks for stopping by

On the S650 the lights are Hydra 26’s and the new 2000 litre tank has 4 Radion XR30 G4 Pro’s

Thanks guys, adding the fish and now starting to add corals is bringing the whole system to life. I’m very pleased with how the rockwork turned out. Ive added a few extra pieces of rock, mainly were the return pump has moved sand away.

I hate to throw things away, because you never know when you might need it. I had a flattish piece of live rock from 4 years ago that’s been sat on a shelf in the garage and I’ve nearly thrown it away on many occasion. It was the perfect fit for a bare piece on the bottom as I didn’t want anything high as it’s near the front of the tank. So never throw anything away! Lol

Ive just got to remember to leave sufficient spacing for the corals to grow out into nice sized colonies rather than cramming them in.

When I go to the LFS, I really have to control myself with the corals, but I’m definitely only buying small frags, and no more fish for some time.

The new system is looking great, Shaun.
Looking better every day.

That impulsive coral/fish buying syndrome is something that many reefers (and wallets) suffer.
Can't blame you to give in at the LFS.
Thank you Jan

WOW...That is amazing.
I have to ask what you are using to shoot your pictures? And are you shooting from inside or outside you tank?
Thank you, and thanks for stopping by.

All the pictures are taken from outside the tank. I hadn’t thought of from inside, but best not as the camera isn’t waterproof! Lol
